I have to agree with you Michael.
On the way into town last Friday mid morning , the Guardia had set up a road check at the Carrefour roundabout .
In the background were several national police officers , armed with what looked like assault rifles.
Obviously , the Guardia knew who they were looking for .
Because as we approached slowly , one of the officers waved us on , and gave a big smile , as we passed .
They have a job to do , and I believe they do it well.
