Quarantine Restrictions for arrival into England lifted, and I would think the rest of the UK will follow shortly.

Anyone rushing to book visits to Spain, me I'm going to wait it out a bit yet, hopefully September or October for us.

It seems to me that "people" are under the impression that because lockdown has been eased the virus has gone away, and they are now immune. It hasn't, it just means the Emergency Services have more chance of having the capacity to treat you.

I'm over 70, and therefore more vulnerable, so I will be carrying on with things like social distancing etc for the foreseeable future, and that I'm afraid does not include trips to Spain, crowded airports/ferries at the moment.

I am hoping that I will be able to bring the Campervan down to Spain later this year, with a bit of a wander through France on the journey down, will just wait it out at the moment.

There's no Covid-19 cases in the Torrevieja area at all now, Stowie39.
None of the hospitals in the Valencia province have any cases.
So , ... Time to catch up on lost time . :D

We were having a great time here in Spain restrictions lifted , able to get out easy to park Etc Etc, then the borders were opened and the chaos as now started. Neighbours who have driven over have no idea how to behave , visitors to the urb have know idea about social distancing Face Masks not seen any Just look at the beaches in Costa Del Sol and that the same here.and its not just the Brits .
It was quite nice to go to Orihuela on Saturday for the Market and shopping NO tourists just locals going about their business obeying in the rules in a quite but calm atmosphere .
So we will be going back into a form of isolation and keeping away from tourist traps .We feel much safer doing that

That's precisely what I'm doing also, Orangepicker.
Avoiding tourist traps at all costs .
I went to Benidorm a couple of weeks ago , with friends .
We stayed in a small privately owned Spanish family hotel .
It was on the periphery of the old town ( Poniente side ).
3 days there , and barely an English accent to be heard .
It was very vibrant ( everyone wearing face masks ) - but the levante side was like a ghost town.
That was before UK arrivals were allowed in . :D

Not the case now though, although I must admit I read it in the Leader.

Yes Stowie39.
Latest update ( not from the Leader ;) ), is that Torrevieja has a new case , and Vega Baja and Elche hospitals have 6 cases between them.
Believed to have been brought into the area by Visitors.
It didn't specify if it was Madridians, or visitors from elsewhere .
If these victims are in good health - then there's a fair chance of them recovering from the virus ... as 98% of people do . :D
