So I stepped out with the missus this morning. A quick stroll to the beach and round to Mercadona for some milk.
Only one of us went in the shop and it was pretty busy.
So what I saw was a lot of people. Well at least for where I am and the time of year and time of day. I would say more than I would normally encounter. So certainly for us this is not the best of decisions. However, I think we have to consider the wider picture here with times set to help those that work to be able to get out.
What I would say is that it really does make you feel blessed living here with the weather, views of the sea and fresh air.
Let's hope the figures continue positively and we can do more.
Keep safe everyone

You keep safe also, Admin.
I went out for an hour on my mountain bike this morning.
What a wonderful feeling.
A bit hot though - even at that time (9.00am - 10.00am).

Nah Freddo. Once I got back - I had a caffeine and nicotine intake on the terrace, and I was right as rain again.

There doesn't appear to be much social distancing going on there .

My thoughts exactly.
I just hope we don't ruin the good work for that sake of a few crazy days.

Compared to where I live these pics are quite scary. A 3 mile walk yesterday - it was only 1km from home but a big circle- My wife and I came across 9 other couples enjoying the freedom hardly a flood of people
Today a hours cycle ride saw me encounter 12 other cyclists - all singular - 6 cars and no walkers its as if people are scared of going out It was 8.30 - 9.30 so not exactly crack of dawn.
So is fear outweighing freedom in this area I ask myself

Funny though.
We used to walk every day. Sometimes round the coast sometimes to Alcampo or Mercadona.
Mostly it's during the afternoon and we hardly see anyone. Now I encounter loads of people.
This morning just walking down to the beach we saw 10 or so people in 800m and we would never see that normally so I question the timetable albeit understand why I still think forcing people to go a certain times is asking for trouble.

Luckily I have no need to go out for exercise as I live surrounded by wetlands where the only occupants are the waterbirds and other wildlife and apart from 2 trips to the supermarket I have never see another human being apart from my wife .
