I see in Informacion that San Vincente del Raspeig in Alicante have painted some pedestrian crossings in 3D. They look a bit strange and I wonder could they confuse you and cause you to fall? Has anybody used one?

I am pretty sure they would confuse my poor old brain!
As a pedestrian who uses crossings on a daily basis my main moan is cyclists who act like pedestrians when it suits them to do so and just ride across them, although this is illegal. They should also be banned from riding their bikes on pavements when there is a perfectly good road they should be using. There are a few places around here where the normal (narrow) pavement is also a cycle lane - how ridiculous is that? - who has priority?
Rant over! for now!

I agree the 3D is very confusing. I wonder would you be inclined to want to take large steps a bit like walking on the sleepers on the railway lines when we were kids. And now we also have scooterhogs bombing along the pavement on their electric scooters with their earphones plugged in.

As a driver i think they are great they would certainly make you slow down and stop As a pedestrian I do not think I would like them at all
