Coastline has taken a battering from Gloria

Has anbody been to any of the beaches ? It would appear from looking at the pictures in Informacion that the beaches north to south on the Alicante coastline have taken a terrible battering from the high waves.

Was at Los Locas yesterday and was pleased to see that all the recent hard work as not been totally ruined Lots of sand blown up against the prom but not too bad. Loads and Loads of seaweed washed up on the rest of the beeches including the sheltered bays around Playa de la Cura but not as bad as on previous occasions.Wooden path bottom end of Los Locas badly damaged

GLORIA - where do they get these names from? Nothing very glorious about this one!
