I'm waiting for this massive spike in Covid-19 cases early next week ( sarcasm ). Given that spread contamination happens within 10 - 14 days .

Witnessing the George Floyd protests right across America cities , and Dublin , London , and Berlin , to mention a few .

There were thousand upon thousands of protestors in very close proximity to each other .
What ( if as I suspect ) there is no "massive spike" in more cases ???
Does this mean that the lockdowns and compulsory wearing of facemasks is futile ?
It would appear so .

That also crossed my mind .
From the start of the lockdown, there seemed to a total disregard of social distancing in these communities.
Mosques in London didn't appear to be limiting the numbers of worshippers attending .
Maybe, the same scenario in Leicester.
