That's a good point. I would guess that email was sent but ended up in your spam or junk folder.

I might look at emailing everyone periodically to let them know they are approved.

The blue is good but if you are jazzing it up to make it more sunshiny could I suggest the nice blues, gold and reds of the Communidad Valenciana flag and shield and Benidorms white Palms on the blue background look well.
